I was very lucky. A chance flight in a Nimrod at the age of fourteen showed me what I wanted to do with my life. Ten years after that flight, I started training as Airman Aircew. I travelled the world, worked with great people, and did everything I’d dreamed of. I’m the one fourth from the right, laughing during the photo shoot. This was a great crew. But it couldn’t last.
Family life doesn’t always mix well with the forces life, so although I was signed on until the age of fifty five, I left after just thirteen years to start a business. Looking back it was madness, leaving a secure, well paid job with all the benefits and pension.
Now at the age of fifty, I’m fortunate to have survived in business and this website is all about what I learnt from the experience.
